What it's about: Based on Twilight, this graphic novel brings to life Bella and Edwards' journey towards never ending love. In a brief sentence, Bella, a girl who does not really have any true ambition is in love with a vampire. Their love, very much like Romeo and Juliet, they're love is all consuming. Part 1 ends with the reveal that Edward is in fact a vampire and continues with Part II the battle against the hunter James. While I really do enjoy reading Graphic Novels such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Percy Jackson, it is really interesting to me that a lot of publishers are actually taking the stride to publishing beloved books as graphic novels, which is extremely interesting and compliant to the current trend. The beautiful designs by Young Kim transports the reader into Forks. The Korean based author is a great visual artists and I cannot wait to read more of her work besides Twilight Vol. 2.
