Summary: For the last eight years, the summer blockbuster season has kicked off with a Marvel movie. The trend of the last six Marvel movies, The Increidlbe Hulk, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America has been leading up to the penultimate Avengers initiative. With the release of Thor last year, it introduced the villain of this wonderful written blockbuster, named Loki, adopted brother to the God, Thor. Loki has come back to earth from his home of Asgard to take control of the tessearact, an apocalyptic causing cube of energy that forces people to bend to their will. The only way to alleviate Loki's plan is to initiate the Avengers initiative by S.H.I.E.D. led by Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury character. The only problem is that each one of these superheroes has an ego that makes it almost impossible to work together. However, through Joss Whedon's extremely poignant writing which takes what could be a mindless action blockbuster to an extremely relevant idea. Joss Whedon masterfully takes a death of a loved character and forces the best out of all the superheroes whom we have all grown to love. Tweens will absolutely adore this movie due to the action and Joss Whedon offers an insight to every viewer that there is more than meets to the eye of being a superhero. Also, girl Tweens will be really thrilled about having Scarlett Johannsen's Black Widow being fully capable of fighting for what she thinks its right and attempt to work towards her redemption. This movie was absolutely fantastic, and although I have always loved Joss Whedon, it is finally like a happily ever after for a writer who has never conformed to studio demands, and has always been true to himself.
