What's interesting about it: Stephenie Meyer, famous for writing the epic adventure of Bella and Edward in Twilight, comes from a Mormon background. She was born in a small town in Minnesota which was absolutely freezing and then moved to Arizona. In that way, Bella's town is semi autobiographical. Stephenie was a National Merit Scholar and received a full scholarship to Brigham Young University where she majored in English. She married her husband and had three children. The idea for Twilight came to her and a dream. It took her three months to write the book even with her three young children. She took care of her kids and then wrote in the late. Her story was very interesting especially with her ideas of "soul" and the afterlife. It is also really interesting to read about all the backlash that Breaking Dawn with its extremely in-depth descriptions of marital acts that she was slightly suprised about the backlash and that people returned the books. However, she always writes for just her and nobody else which is really inspiring for future writers.
