Why It's Good: Clarity is a great debut by Kim Harrington. She cites Veronica Mars as one of her inspirations and i can totally see the resemblance! Clare is a girl who lives with her telephatic mother and her borther. Clarity's psychic powers allow her to touch an object and to see the person who touched them last. Clare helps her mother and brother during the summer busy season at their touristy town to have psychic readings. When there suddenly is a Murder in Town, Clare is recruited by her ex-boyfriend's father and the new boy in town to help them find the case. However, the case leads to her brother who becomes a supsect in murdering her. Knowing her brother's innocence, Clare works harder than ever to prove her brother's innocence and find the true killer. The story is exhilarating and the reader journey's with Clare when she solves the crime of who killed Vikki.

Parental Warning: The brother is promiscuous and Clarity's boyfriend cheats on her which leads to discussions of drinking and going all the way.
